The entire team at US Turf were over the top! It started with a phone call for an estimate, where I spoke to Meghan. She was very easy to speak to, polite, and accommodating with the type of schedule I have as a professional pilot, and was able to get Lane out to my home for an estimate within a day or so. Lane was meticulous with his measurements, explained the difference in turf thickness, quality, etc... and was just a total professional. The estimate he gave me was higher than the three other competing bids I had, but was in the "ball park" of what I expected to pay. While I was calling back the others to let them know I was eliminating their bid, one of them (TTT) came back and undercut US Turf by almost $4,000 dollars! When that happened I called Lane and said, "TTT can do the job for xxx dollars, can you match their price?" It was then I realized I was dealing with a true professional who knew his craft and trade, and that it wasn't about a sales quota that had to be met. Lane was awesome - just a stand up guy who basically squared me away by telling me I was getting the best quality turf on the market, his best crew was coming to install it, and the best turf company in San Diego was going to stand behind it! After that, I knew I was in great hands and I went with US Turf.
The crew showed up on time every day, and worked hard for 3 days and did an AMAZING job! I did get the best crew, and the best Supervisor in Derek as well. :)
I had been a 'real grass' guy for over 50 years and never thought I'd go to artificial turf - boy was I wrong! My yard looks amazing with the Coronado Premium, and just not having to waste water, mow, fertilize, edge, clean up, etc... means more time to enjoy it and relax!

New turf looks beautiful and best of all, no white flies/mosquitos hanging out in the yard anymore! Able to lay on the turf and play with my puppy without worrying about either of getting bites. The turf is also perfectly cut to follow the shape of my pavers.

They did an area in our backyard, apox. 12'x30' and it turned out lovely. We are so glad we had it done. It's been in for just over a year now and it looks good. The only negative for us is the dog urine can really smell (yes we got everything done to it when installed to make it fido friendly). I am frequently watering it with the hose. If I knew right where the pee was at, I could concentrate on hitting just that area with the water, but I don't, and our 2 big dogs like to go here and there, and so do their canine friends who come over to play, so I have to do a lot of watering to get rid of the smell. That is our only complaint.
Do be aware that it gets quite hot when the sun is on it (Escondido). There have been many times I have tried to walk onto it barefoot but had to get off super fast as it was WAY TOO HOT to step on. Our dogs seem fine with it, even on a very hot day and they like to lay on it in the sun. Go figure!
US Turf had the best pricing out of several quotes I received, and service was top notch throughout the whole process. I appreciated that their sales team didn't use high-pressure tactics like some other companies who offer a Same Day discount to pressure you into committing the day of your initial consult. Lane Sanchez was not only knowledgeable in helping recommend the best layout as we designed our yard, but also patient as we requested changes and odd accommodations during the final stages. The crew, including awesome guys Mauricio and Tony, asked us about various preferences as they worked and made sure to get our input instead of making assumptions about certain details (breaks in the putting green, shape of edging, which way we wanted the turf to lay, etc). We couldn't be happier with our new yard and highly recommend US Turf!

We are so thrilled with the work US Turf did for our small backyard. Chris was very prompt with giving us a fair quote & was able to schedule the job pretty quick. The installation team were extremely hard workers. In 2 1/2 days they were able to remove all the old dead grass & dirt, level the ground and properly prep the area before meticulously placing the pavers and turf. We had an initial discussion with Sam, who provided a detailed description of the process US Turf would take. He showed us several samples and them provided a detailed estimate. It was a fair estimate based on us choosing the best and thickest. A few days later, Marcos and his crew were on site to remove the old grass and soil down to several inches. The aggregate was spread and compacted down. Finally, the artificial turf was nailed down and smoothed out and drains were working freely. They made sure the old irrigation system was capped. The results were perfection! No lumps, bumps, or unwanted undulations. Marcos and his team gets an A+ from my wife and I.
